New Arsenal star Granit Xhaka has put himself under the spotlight ahead of Arsenal’s first Premier League game against Liverpool.
The former Borussia Mochengladbach midfielder joined in June for a fee believed to be in the region of £30million, after starring in Switzerland’s Euro 2016 campaign.
The new addition to the Gunners squad kicked off his Gunners career by getting on stage and ‘singing’ to the squad as his teammates prepared to eat dinner on Wednesday evening.

It was all caught on camera and tweeted by Arsenal youngster Emiliano Martinez with the caption, “Welcome to Arsenal, Granit Xhaka.”
Xhaka was integral to the Gladbach side that qualified for their debut Champions League appearance last season, making an impressive 140 appearances in four years with the Bundesliga outfit.
The Basel academy graduate moved to Galdbach in 2012 for £6.75million and developed into one of the Bundesliga’s outstanding midfielders.
Arsenal, who will wave goodbye to veteran trio Mathieu Flamini, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky when their contracts expire at the end of the season, will now rely on Xhaka to fill the void next season.
Fans will be hoping he keeps his talents on the pitch from now on.
