Juventus have tabled a £25million bid to sign Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, according to a report.
The Italian champions are hoping that the 27-year-old will opt to move away from London to join the Italian champions after opening preliminary talks about a deal.
Fernando Felicevich, agent of Sanchez, has revealed that his client wishes to leave Arsenal this summer, as cited by Calciomercato.
The forward recently picked up another Copa America victory as they defeated Argentina on penalties for the second consecutive year.
But it is said that Sanchez is keen to make the move back to Italy five years after his successful spell at Udinese.
However, the Chilean was a crucial part of Arsene Wenger’s side in the 2105-16 campaign, scoring 17 goals and setting up 11 assists in his 41 appearances across all competitions.
It is reported that Arsenal are unlikely to agree a deal with the Italian giants at £25million, but a fee of £34million could be enough to secure the services of the Premier League star.
A deal with the Juventus would see him return to Italy, after he left Udinese in 2011 to join Barcelona for a reported £30million fee.
Although his future remains unclear for now, Arsenal have been searching for a striker in the transfer market already with Spanish striker being linked as an option.
In the latest Arsenal news, they are close to settling the future of 21-year-old playmaker.
