Leeds target Greg Stewart has rejected a move to Championship rivals Birmingham, according to a report.
Stewart spoke to the Edinburgh Telegraph in July to reveal his excitement at the interest in him from Leeds and Scottish giants Rangers.
It looked as though Garry Monk was about to miss out on one of his target’s, but Sky Sports have claimed that the 26-year-old has rejected a £500,000 move to Birmingham.
The Dundee United forward has attracted interest from several English clubs after rejecting a new and improved contract at Dens Park, with less than 12 months remaining on his current deal.
The uncapped Scotsman has already starred in three games for the Dark Blues this season in the Scottish League cup scoring an impressive six goals and providing two assists.
The Stirling-born star picked up from where he left off last season after he netted 11 goals and provided 15 assists in 42 encounters, building a formidable partnership with former teammate Kane Hemmings, who left for League One side Oxford this summer.
Stewart can play all across the front line, including his more natural left-wing position, as well as the right-wing and down the middle.
In other Leeds transfer news, the Whites are set to announce two new additions to their side this week.
