Southampton striker Graziano Pelle is a summer transfer target for Everton and Stoke, according to a report.
The Express have cited comments made from the Italian’s agent Romualdo Corvino on Italian radio station SportItalia, where he suggests that contact has been made with two Premier League clubs.
“With Juventus at the moment there is nothing. However, there has been contact with Everton, Stoke and China.” said Pelle’s agent to SportItalia.
It is said that if Pelle turns down a new deal then he will be sold by Southampton this summer in order to recoup as much money as possible.
The 30-year-old was signed from Dutch side Feyenoord for £8million in 2014 by former manager Ronald Koeman, who is set for the manager’s post at Everton and could bring the Italian over with him to Merseyside.
The target man has had a fair amount of success since his arrival to the Premier League, where he has found the net on 23 occasions in 68 Premier League appearances.
But with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku aspiring for Champions League football and the Toffees having £100m to spend, Pelle may well be a viable target.
