Mario Balotelli’s agent Mino Raiola has offered the Liverpool flop to a whole host of European clubs, including Ligue 1 side Nantes, according to a report.

The 26-year-old has been told he can leave Anfield after a nightmare stay in Merseyside, followed by an impotent spell on loan with AC Milan last season.

French newspaper L’Equipe claim that Nantes are the latest club to be offered the wantaway striker. This follows Balotelli being reportedly turned down by Italian sides Sassuolo and Bologna, and Turkish club Besiktas.

Italian broadcaster Sport Italia, as cited by website Football Italia claim that Merseyside rivals Everton have also been offered Balotelli by Raiola, who masterminded the world-record transfer of Paul Pogba to Manchester United this summer.

Balotelli is desperate to leave the Reds this summer after boss Jurgen Klopp made it clear that there is no place for him in the first-team set-up at Anfield.

The former AC Milan forward joined the Reds in a £16million deal in August 2014.

Balotelli, who has played for both Milan clubs, has failed to live up to expectations. He’s scored just four goals in 28 appearances in a Liverpool shirt after being brought in to replace the departing Luis Suarez by former manager Brendan Rodgers.

The Italy international missed out on this summer’s European Championships after suffering another wayward season in front of goal, bagging just three goals and providing one assist in Serie A while on loan to AC Milan.

The Champions League winner has fallen down the Liverpool pecking order behind the likes of Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and Danny Ings, and has been training with the reserve side during pre season.

In other Liverpool transfer news, this playmaker could be set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce.
