Tottenham star’s Dele Alli and Eric Dier have faced off in the water bottle challenge while training with England.

The challenge, which involves flipping a water bottle in the air before landing it upright, has swept the nation after a serious of viral videos started the craze.

The pair documented the battle via Snapchat as they competed to see who could complete the trick the most times.

Alli, 20, had a few practice attempts before comfortably beating his Tottenham teammate 3-0.

Dier eventually threw his bottle across the dressing room in frustration as Alli chimed, “good night”.

Both Alli and Dier are expected to feature for the Three Lions during the international break as England take on Malta and Slovenia in World Cup qualifying group F.

The midfield duo lit up the Premier League last season as Mauricio Pochettino’s side challenged for the title.

Despite falling 11 points short of first placed Leicester City, the pair have carried their good form into this season.

The north London club finished last weekend’s action in second place in the top-flight after picking up 17 points from seven matches this term.

Pochettino has already overseen wins against Manchester City, Crystal Palace and Sunderland this season as his side prepare to battle on all fronts for major silverware.

In other Tottenham news, Harry Redknapp admitted he discovered his players bet on their own matches, in contravention of Football Association rules – and Spurs fans took to Twitter.
