Luke Shaw is set to return for Manchester United’s clash against Arsenal immediately after the international break, according to a report.

The Guardian claim Shaw should be available for selection despite missing Sunday’s clash against Swansea through injury, as the two teams go head-to-head after the international break

The Manchester United left-back complained of pain in his leg following his side’s Europa League defeat against Fenerbahce and withdrew from the 3-0 win over the Swans.

Mourinho criticised the England international for his unwillingness to play against Swansea and may choose not to select Shaw for the clash against Arsenal.

Shaw suffered a horrific leg break during a Champions League group game at PSV Eindhoven in September last year and missed the rest of the 2015-16 campaign.

He made his comeback in the 3-1 victory at Bournemouth on the opening weekend of this season and has gone on to make 11 appearances for United this season.

Arsenal take on Jose Mourinho’s side on 19th November and will be hoping to remain unbeaten in 17 games after suffering their last defeat against Liverpool on the opening weekend of the Premier League season.

United are already without Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the striker picked up his fifth yellow card on Sunday and will serve his one-match suspension against the Gunners.

In other Arsenal news, Olivier Giroud has admitted his fears after struggling to return to the starting XI this season.
