Arsenal could make ten changes for their EFL Cup tie against Reading on Tuesday night at the Emirates.
The Gunners played out a goalless draw against Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Saturday, with Championship opposition now set to visit north London.
First team regulars, Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin, Laurent Koscielny, Shkrodan Mustafi, Nacho Monreal, Mohammed Elneny, Theo Walcott, Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez could all be rested.
But it could mean the return of senior figures such as Olivier Giroud, Lucas Perez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Kieran Gibbs and Gabriel to the starting line-up.
Additionally, youngsters Reine-Adelaide, Krystian Bielik, Maitland-Niles, Rob Holding and Emiliano Martinez could all have a chance to impress on the night.
Striker Giroud could be the focal point of the attack, as a blood of youngsters and experience will play around the France international, as the Gunners aim to prevent an upset.
Defensive-midfielder Bielik might get his first start of the season, as he looks to provide a defensive stability, alongside fellow academy graduate Coquelin.
Holding will be hoping to continue his impressive start in north London, following his summer transfer from the Championship, with Maitland-Niles possibly providing the attacking threat at right-back.
A place in the last-16 awaits the winners, but surprisingly the league cup is the only domestic competition Wenger has not won during his 20-year managerial career at Arsenal.
In other Arsenal team news, a Sky report has detailed how the Gunners missed this creative figure during the goalless draw against Middlesbrough.
