Arsenal fans have decided they would prefer the club to sign centre-back Shkodran Mustafi over Jose Fonte this summer via a poll by Soccer AM.
Sky Sports’ Spanish reporter Guillem Balague claimed on his personal Twitter account on Tuesday that Mustafi is set to join Arsenal from Valencia because the Spanish club want to sell due to financial issues.
Meanwhile, ESPN claimed on Tuesday that the Gunners had made an approach for the Southampton captain Fonte.
Popular Saturday morning show Soccer AM reacted to the two links and asked Arsenal fans, which of the pair they would prefer on their official Twitter account.

The results were pretty one-sided with Mustafi earning 488 of the 749 votes from the Gunners faithful.
The Germany international, 24, has emerged as a prime target for Arsene Wenger as he aims to bolster the Gunners’ defensive ranks after a spate of pre-season injuries have left them without Per Mertesacker and Gabriel for the opening months of the season.
However, Fonte brings Premier League experience to the Gunners after starring in 137 top-flight encounters during his time at the south coast club.
The Gunners were left with inexperienced duo Rob Holding and Calum Chambers at centre-back, as Liverpool scored four goals in last Sunday’s thrilling Premier League opener at Emirates Stadium, which Jurgen Klopp’s side won 4-3 despite a late rally from the home side.
