Jack Wilshere helped Bournemouth hold Tottenham to a draw on Saturday afternoon- and Arsenal fans on Twitter were pleased with his performance.
Midfielder Wilshere, who is on-loan with the Cherries, played a pivotal part of Eddie Howe’s side restricting Spurs to a goalless draw at Dean Court.
The England international completed 90 minutes of football for the first time since September 2014, against his parent club’s bitter rivals.
This pleased Gunners supporters who praised the midfielder for finally completing a football match after a series of injures.
One fan praised Wilshere for keeping Spurs behind their north London rivals in the table, with Arsene Wenger’s side level on points in second, as they face Middlesbrough.
However, another supporter felt that the Arsenal academy graduate would be playing for his parent club against Boro on Saturday, had he not been loaned out.
Wenger’s side currently have playmaker Santi Cazorla out injured, with Granit Xhaka suspended, as Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin start for the north London club.
Overall, fans were overjoyed that Wilshere put in a commanding display to stop Tottenham from picking up three points.

If we never loaned out Wilshere he'd start today. Cazorla and Xhaka out with Elneny and Coq in, he'd 100% be starting #AFC
