Kieran Gibbs has replaced Nacho Monreal on the left side of the Arsenal defence for their Champions League game against Ludogorets, and happy Gunners fans took to Twitter to celebrate.
The 27-year-old has had limited first-team time this season and has only registered one full 90 minutes in the 4-0 EFL Cup win against Nottingham Forest.
However, Wenger has handed him a rare start in the Champions League game at the Emirates against Ludogorets, with Monreal dropping to the bench.
Arsenal fans were happy with the news and hope that he grasps the chance and stakes a claim for a regular first-team place.
Here are a selection of tweets from the Arsenal fans:

Gibbs has struggled to regain his starting position in Arsene Wenger’s squad after losing his place to Spanish full-back Nacho Monreal.
The defender has watched from the sidelines for much of this season as the Gunners have made a strong start to their domestic campaign.
Wenger’s side currently sit in second place in the Premier League behind league-leaders Manchester City on goal difference.
