Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko is set to miss three games through suspension – and Arsenal fans responded on Twitter to the news.
The Frenchman has been charged by the FA for an alleged act of violent conduct after he clashed with Harry Arter in the goalless draw with Bournemouth.
Referee Craig Pawson did not see the incident or take any action, but the alleged elbow was caught on video, with the FA now taking action.
The FA released a statement on their official website, stating that Sissoko has until 6pm on October 25 to reply to the charge as a panel of three former officials come together to deliberate on when it was a sending-off offence.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has since revealed the the club have accepted the charge and Sissoko will serve a three-game ban, as cited by Sky Sports.
Sissoko, 27, will miss the EFL Cup match against Tottenham on Tuesday, as well as league fixtures with Leicester and great rivals Arsenal.
The Gunners’ supporters mocked their great rivals following the Sissoko blow to Spurs.

Both Arsenal and Spurs are involved in a fascinating battle at the top-end of the Premier League, with five sides separated by just a point.
The Gunners are currently second-placed in the table and only behind league leaders Manchester City on goal difference.
Spurs are currently fifth and just a point behind Man City in their pursuit for the Premire League title.
Mauricio Pochettino is likely to play Victor Wanyama and Moussa Dembele in the midfield so Arsenal will still be expecting a tough match.
In other Arsenal news, their senior ace has sent an Instagram message to a Middlesbrough star after their draw.
