Jack Wilshere has already been forced out of an Arsenal game by injury – and supporters have reacted with weary resignation.
Hayters sports reporter Simon Collings shared the news via his Twitter account that the England midfielder missed Arsenal’s 3-1 pre-season friendly win over Chivas in the US on Sunday night after suffering a knee problem.
The England international missed most of last season with the latest in a series of serious injuries as he struggles to fulfil his immense promise.
One fan responded by saying there is nothing new in the Wilshere injury as it is a common Arsenal theme at this time of year, as is Alex Ox Chamberlain showing impressive form during pre-season, then tailing off when the season gets underway.
Another supporter was hoping the midfielder’s injury is not too serious as Arsenal prepare for their opening Premier League fixture against Liverpool on August 14.
Here are the reactions to Wilshere’s latest injury on Twitter:

Jack Wilshere has had more injuries than I've had Maccy D's and I live next to a drive through. Arsenal training regime must be wrong.
