Walcott, 27, has been at Arsenal for 10 years after joining from Southampton in the 2006 winter window.
He was initially brought in as a striker, but his pace has seen Arsene Wenger convert him into a winger.
Despite playing from a wide position Walcott has started the new campaign in impressive form with seven goals from nine fixtures for the Gunners in all competitions.
Arsenal are now sat in second place with 19 points after their opening eight encounters in the Premier League.
