Alexis Sanchez has returned to training ahead of Arsenal’s mouthwatering clash against Manchester United on Saturday.

The Chile forward was pictured at the Gunners’ London Colney headquarters taking part in full training with his teammates on Friday.

Arsenal’s official website showed Sanchez being put through his paces by manager Arsene Wenger as the London giants made final preparations before the trip to Old Trafford.

Wenger has a big decision to make on whether to start Sanchez following a hamstring scare while away with Chile during the international break.

Sanchez missed one of his country’s World Cup qualifiers before defying Wenger’s advice to play in Tuesday’s clash against Uruguay, in which he scored two sensational goals in his side’s 3-1 win.

Sanchez, who was wearing a thigh support on his right leg, played 84 minutes of the clash and only returned to the UK on Thursday.

The 27-year-old’s involvement in training on Friday suggests that he is in the running to start against Jose Mourinho’s side in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.

Sanchez has been in outstanding form for Arsenal this season after Wenger re-deployed him as the team’s spearhead ahead of Olivier Giroud.

The forward has responded with an impressive eight goals and seven assists from 15 matches in all competitions.

In other Arsenal team news, a £25million bid is in the offing for an attacking midfielder.
