Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Aaron Ramsey and Petr Cech are among the Arsenal stars given a breather as Arsene Wenger makes nine changes for Saturday’s FA Cup clash against Hull.
With pivotal fixtures against Barcelona and Manchester United next week, Wenger has named a much-changed team for the fifth-round match at Emirates Stadium.
Cech, Ozil and Ramsey are left out of the matchday squad, while Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Francis Coquelin, Nacho Monreal, Hector Bellerin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain drop down to the bench.
January signing Mohamed Elneny makes only his second start for the club, while Danny Welbeck, who marked his comeback with a dramatic winner last weekend in the 2-1 win over Leicester, starts his first Arsenal match in 10 months.
