Football Insider rates the Arsenal players after they drew 2-2 in their Group A Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night.

David Ospina – 8 Kept out a late PSG onslaught but could do nothing about Edinson Cavani’s opener or Alex Iwobi’s late own goal.

Carl Jenkinson – 7 Impressed in place of the injured Hector Bellerin, as he looked good going forward and worked hard in defence.

Shkodran Mustafi – 5 Looked shaky and not close enough to Blaise Matuidi, who provided the assist for Cavani’s goal.

Laurent Koscielny – 6 Solid, without entirely  and struggled to subdue the in-form Cavani, who struck his 16th goal in as many games.

Kieran Gibbs – 6 Defended well but provided little attacking threat on the left.

Francis Coquelin – 6 Broke up attacking play well but his temperament is in question again as he picked up another yellow card and will be banned for the clash against Basel.

Aaron Ramsey – 7 Drove the Gunners forward on a number of occasions, but failed to deliver the final product in the final third.

Alex Iwobi – 5 Struggled against top opposition as he kept possession for too long at times. Unlucky to concede an own goal.

Mesut Ozil – 7 Showed a number of clever touches and passes including the through ball that saw Sanchez win a penalty. Classy without being sensational.

Alexis Sanchez – 7 Impressed on the flank for the Gunners with a number of dangerous runs and won the penalty which saw Olivier Giroud convert from the spot.

Olivier Giroud – 8 Proved his case for a first-team spot against Bournemouth on Sunday with a goal and an impressive display as Arsenal’s attacking spearhead.
