Geoffrey Kondogbia has agreed a deal to join Inter Milan, Football Insider sources understand.

The in-demand Monaco midfielder has attracted interest from a string of leading clubs, including Arsenal and AC Milan, but is now heading for Inter.

Kondogbia has agreed the terms of a five-year contract with the Serie A club and could even complete a move there next week.

Inter and Monaco have already held talks over the structure of the deal and a fee of around £20million is expected to be settled between the two clubs.

The France international, 22, has chosen Inter after being shortlisted as a target by leading clubs for his performances for Monaco, including an outstanding display at Emirates Stadium last season as they eliminated Arsenal from the Champions League.
