Arsenal travel to Old Trafford on Saturday for the latest Premier League showdown against Manchester United but the key battle could be between Marcus Rashford and Laurent Koscielny.

United are set to make a number of changes due to injuries and suspension and Rashford is likely to replace Zalatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swedish centre-forward picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during the 3-1 victory against Swansea City and will be forced to sit out the clash through suspension.

It’s a great opportunity for Rashford to come into the side and impress Jose Mourinho as the youngster is still trying to impress the manager.

Rashford has accumulated 14 first team appearances this season, but only six starts in the Premier League, with his last one coming in the 0-0 draw against Burnley .

The 19-year-old has continued to be a threat though, scoring four goals in all competitions so far and featured for England’s senior team against Spain on Tuesday.

He will come up against Arsenal’s strong centre-back pairing of Shkodran Mustafi and Laurent Koscielny but it’s the Frenchman who may be exploited by Rashford’s strengths.

Koscielny is excellent at intercepting passes but Rashford is clever and makes some blistering runs in behind the two centre halves so the Arsenal defender will need to be on top form.

Any mistake could prove costly and given Rashford’s goal-scoring pedigree, if he breaks through the middle, he’s likely to score.

Koscielny, 31, is experienced though and he’s been a warrior for Arsenal in their defence so the Gunners will turn to him for leadership and hope he sets an example to the rest of the team.
