Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has taken to Twitter to express his delight at scoring Arsenal’s equaliser in a 1-1 draw against French side Lens in their opening pre-season game of the summer.
The England international rescued a late draw for Arsene Wenger’s side with a chipped finish after some neat link up work with teammate Serge Gnabry.
Oxlade-Chamberlain who missed out on a Euro 2016 spot due to injury voiced his delight at getting some game time for the club.
“Felt good to be back and get some minutes tonight,” the Ox wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Always nice to get on the score sheet too.”

The Premier League club fell behind to the France second division side when Callum Chambers was punished for his loose pass in the 38th minute.
But, the speedy winger enjoyed a 45-minute cameo as he built up his fitness for the forthcoming Premier League season.
Wenger gave a first-team opportunity to youngster’s Alex Iwobi, centre-back Chambers and striker Chuba Akpom.
Per Mertesacker, Theo Walcott, Mathieu Debuchy and Nacho Monreal were amongst the senior figures in the squad.
