Aston Villa will likely make one change to their team, which will take on Cardiff at Villa Park on Saturday.
Gabriel Agbonlahor, 30, will be expected to drop out of the starting eleven, paving the way for Jack Grealish to come back into the line-up.
Steve Bruce’s men battled to a 1-1 draw with second placed Brighton in their last league fixture and as they continue their six match unbeaten run the manager is unlikely to change his team too much.
Summer signing Jonathan Kodjia will be expected to return to his more natural striker role, after starting on the left side against Brighton.
The 27-year-old has scored six goals and provided one assist following his £11million summer move from Bristol City and could prove vital against the Welsh side’s defence.
In-form attacker Albert Adomah will likely support the forward with Grealish on the flanks.
Behind the trio will see the combative Mile Jedinak between Ashley Westwood and Gary Gardner with the three becoming Bruce’s favoured midfield.
The defence will also be expected to remain the same with Alan Hutton, James Chester, Nathan Baker and Jordan Amavi all performing well under Bruce’s tenure.
Additionally, summer goalkeeper signing Pierluigi Gollini will likely retain his position as the club’s number one.
The 21-year-old has played in 16 fixtures this season, conceding 13 and keeping five clean sheets.
Villa will be keen to maintain their good form, while Cardiff will be looking to create a run after their 3-2 victory over Huddersfield last weekend.
