Jonathan Kodjia scored a magnificent scissor kick to help Aston Villa to a late victory against Fulham on Saturday afternoon- and fans on Twitter lauded the talented striker.

Steve Bruce’s side have now recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season, following their 2-1 victory against Reading on Tuesday night.

Forward Kodjia scored for his third successive game, as the claret & blue club, secured all three points at Villa Park on Saturday afternoon.

Supporters on Twitter were in awe of Kodjia’s skills, as his performance and ability on the ball, has impressed the Villa Park faithful.

Fans applauded the special goal by Kodjia, as they backed him to score against fierce rivals Birmingham next Sunday in the second City derby.

The 27-year-old attacker moved to Villa from Championship rivals Bristol City for a fee, which could rise to £15 million, depending on performances.

Kodjia has scored four goals in nine appearances for the Midlands giants this season, as they aim for a promotion push this season.

Villa are now 16th in the table, with 17 points from 14 games, and six points off Bristol City, who hold the final play-off spot.

Bruce’s men travel to St Andrews next Sunday to take on their fiercest rivals Birmingham, in an eagerly awaited second City derby.
