Ian Taylor has praised the signing of Mile Jedinak after he signed a three-year deal with Aston Villa on Wednesday afternoon.
The club confirmed on their official website that the Crystal Palace midfielder has made a switch from the Premier League to the Championship for an undisclosed fee.
Former player and current club ambassador Taylor believes Roberto Di Matteo has purchased another key signing for the squad.
“Jedinak is a great signing,” Taylor wrote on his personal Twitter account. “A leader, presence, another captain and experienced player who know what it’s all about. #UTV.”
Here is Taylor giving his thoughts on the Jedinak signing on his personal Twitter account.

The 32-year-old has experience of winning promotion with Palace having led the side to the Premier League in 2012-13.
The combative midfielder was named the club’s player of the year as they beat Watford in the Championship play-off.
Australian Jedinak has 64 international caps to his name, with the former Palace man having captained his home country in the 2015 Asia cup.
It now means Di Matteo has purchased six summer signings, including three former captains, with Ross McCormack, Tommy Elphick and Jedinak having worn the captain’s armband at their previous clubs.
In other Aston Villa transfer news, this £50,000 experienced player is pictured holding talks over a possible transfer.
