Aston Villa star Jack Grealish has shown his appreciation of Portugal youngster Renato Sanches via his Twitter account.

Sanches has been under the spotlight at this summer’s European Championships after his high-profile £29million move to Bayern Munich in May.

The 18-year-old starlet played a major role in Portugal progressing to the semi-final of  Euro 2016 after scoring an emphatic penalty in his country’s quarter-final shoot-out with Poland on Thursday evening.

He also demonstrated the ability that had Europe’s biggest clubs beating a path to his door with a dynamic display.

Grealish took to social media to express his wonder at the young forward.

The former Benfica star has already played nine times for his country after demonstrating he can take his club form to the internaitional stage.

Sanches will now link up with the likes of Arjen Robben, Thomas Muller and Douglas Costa in Germany as the squad prepares to fight to retain its Bundesliga title, having won the league by 10 points last season.

In other Aston Villa news, Aston Villa supporters have not had much to cheer about in recent times, but they were overjoyed on Wednesday when the popular Jordan Amavi hinted he wants to stay at the club.
