Luke Ayling sent an amusing Twitter response to Leeds teammate Ronaldo Vieira, who laughed at his reaction following the club’s Halloween prank involving Kalvin Phillips.

Phillips dressed up in a costume for the club’s LUFCTV humorous video as they looked to buy into the spirit of Halloween.

The young midfielder was hiding behind a door before Ayling walked in and gave the summer signing a fright, which young star Vieira found particularly amusing.

Vieira posted the video on his personal Twitter account as well as tagging Ayling and Vieira alongside multiple laughing emojis.

This earned a response from Ayling, who responded on his own personal Twitter account with: “All part of the show…… Didn’t really jump.”

Ayling, 25, has helped the Leeds defence improve significantly following his summer move from Championship rivals Bristol City.

Alongside fellow additions Pontus Jansson and Kyle Bartley to the club’s defence he has played in 14 encounters for the club in all competitions as they sit one place behind Ayling’s former club who are sat in sixth in the Championship.

The famous Yorkshire club will be looking to return to England’s top flight after a 12-year absence with a clash at Carrow Road against Norwich coming up on Saturday.

In other Leeds news, Kemar Roofe has posted a defiant message on Instagram hinting that there’s more to come from the attacker.
