Everton full-back Leighton Baines has praised Brendan Galloway and Luke Garbutt and has admitted the two youngsters are competing for his position next season.
On the official Everton Twitter page the club ran an #AskBaines feature, where the left-back was asked about the two young starlets.
The England international, who was left out of this summer’s European Championships praised the two stars, but admitted that he will also be facing competition at club level next season.
They're two really good players and they're doing really well, so they are competition. It's a good situation for us https://t.co/NjXZlrAMLP

Baines joined Everton in 2007 from Wigan Athletic and has been ever-present for the club during his nine years at Goodison Park.
However, the full-back is now 31-years-old and new boss Ronald Koeman may look to the future and give one of the youngsters experience of playing in the Premier League next season.
Galloway, 20. joined the Toffees from MK Dons in 2014 for an undisclosed fee after signing a five-year deal and has made 17 appearances in England’s top flight.
Meanwhile 23-year-old Luke Garbutt has only featured in five Premier League matches for the Toffees since joining from Leeds at the age of 16, but he has also starred in 10 Europa League fixtures during his time at Goodison Park.
Garbutt spent last season on-loan in the Championship with Fulham where he made 27 appearances in all competitions.
Everton are said to be backing Koeman with a £100million transfer kitty, but the Dutch manager hasn’t reportedly been linked with any left-back’s this summer with the club having three strong options to choose from.
In other Everton news, the Toffees have identified Yann M’Vila as the man to fill their central midfield void.
