Michy Batshuayi has praised the ability of Liverpool on Twitter after their 2-1 win over Chelsea.

The Reds completed the league victory at Stamford Bridge on Friday and moved up to fourth in the table as a result.

Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson gave the visitors a two-goal lead, with the England international unleashing a sensational long range effort into the top corner.

Diego Costa did pull one back for the hosts in the second-half, but Liverpool held on to claim all three points.

Chelsea forward Batshuayi, who was an unused substitute on Friday night, has posted on his personal Twitter account that his side were beaten by a good Liverpool side.

“Disappointing result yesterday but we played a good Liverpool team,” he said on Saturday. “Now we must turn things around quick.”

Batshuayi, 22, has made an impressive start since his move to English football and scored three goals in five appearances across all competitions.

The Belgian was forced to watch on from the bench as Antonio Conte suffered his first defeat as Chelsea boss.

Jurgen Klopp’s influence has caused the team to become an attacking force at the beginning of the season, with the team scoring 16 goals in their first six fixtures.
