Liverpool fans are jubilant after Jamie Carragher announced that Jurgen Klopp will join him on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show.

The former Liverpool defender now works as a pundit for Sky and revealed on his personal Twitter account that the high profile manager would join him on the flagship programme.

This week’s Monday Night Football show will feature the game between Burnley and Watford at Turf Moor, alongside analysis of all of the weekend’s action, including the Reds’ 5-1 demolition of Hull City at Anfield.

It is expected that Klopp will help talk through the game and how his side dismantled the Tigers and he will also lend his opinion into how the Gunners made easy work of Chelsea and how Manchester United regained their form and style in their 4-1 drubbing of champions Leicester.

The 49-year-old coach has previous work appearing on German television during his days at Borussia Dortmund and has become a hugely popular figure in English football since his arrival in October of last year.

Carragher’s tweet already has 2,600 retweets and 5,500 likes so far, as plaudits have flooded in for the show.

In other Liverpool news, this Reds ace has been named as the Premier League’s outstanding player so far this season.
