Arsenal star Hector Bellerin returned to full training with the Spanish Under-21 team on Friday despite fears over a potential injury, according to report.

The Evening Standard claim that Bellerin, 21, was able to join the rest of Albert Celades’ squad following a knock despite concerns over the full-back fitness.

Bellerin was on the receiving end of a strong tackle in his side’s 3-0 win over San Marino on Wednesday and took no part in his squad’s training session the following day.

The news of the youngster’s return will come as a relief to Arsenal fans, who are desperate to see a full contingent of their first-team stars fight for Premier League glory this season.

The north London ace has played nine times for Arsene Wenger’s side this season in seven Premier League and two Champions League games.

Bellerin, who moved to North London in 2011 from Barcelona, has made three senior appearances for Spain’s national side but is yet to find a way past Atletico Madrid defender Juanfran and Real Madrid star Dani Carvajal.

The Gunners take on Swansea, Ludogorets and Middlesbrough all within seven days after the international break as they strive for their first piece of silverware since the 2014-15 FA Cup.

In other Arsenal team news, the Gunners will be boosted by the return of this defender.
