Everton are favourites to sign Bournemouth attacker Josh King this summer, according to the latest bookmaker odds.
SkyBet have the Toffees priced at 5/1 to nab the 25-year-old away from the Vitality Stadium, after he put in a series of stunning displays in the English top-flight last season which saw him score 16 goals in 36 appearances.
Tottenham (13/2) are second favourites to acquire the former Manchester United youngsters while West Ham (9/1) are also among the forerunners.
West Brom (20/1) are also in the running but appear a lot less likely to bolster their attacking options by raiding the impressive Cherries.
King had a very strange season on the south coast, as he scored just three times before the start of 2017.
It was certainly a case of ‘new year, new me’ for the 28-times Norway international, as he proceeded to go on a rampage and score 13 in 16 appearances.
His haul was quite unexpected, especially when you consider that he had never scored more than two league goals in a single season before moving to Bournemouth from Blackburn in 2015.
King scored just eight goals in 72 appearances for Rovers, where he spent almost three years of his career.
Everton could be looking out for new striker options this summer with the future of Romelu Lukaku still in doubt.
Ronald Koeman has already added Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen to his squad in deals combining to be over £50million.
