Leeds are currently well-priced to earn a top-six finish this season in the Championship.
The Whites are rated as 11/4 shots by bookmakers SkyBet to finish inside the play-off positions and are priced at the same level as Steve McClaren’s Derby.
Current league leaders Newcastle (1/250) are regarded as heavy favourites to reach the play-off spots, with Brighton, Norwich, Sheffield Wednesday, Huddersfield, Aston Villa, Reading, Bristol City and Fulham all considered more probable than Leeds.
Garry Monk’s side moved into sixth-place in the Championship over the weekend after earning an impressive 3-2 away victory at Norwich.
Ronaldo Vieira scored a dramatic stoppage time winner for the Yorkshire club and continued their impressive league form, with three consecutive wins shooting them up the table.
Leeds are still considered more unlikely to be in the top-six at the end of the season than Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham, Bristol City and Villa despite being above them in the current standings.
The Whites earned just one win in their opening five league games this campaign, but have been in fantastic form recently.
They are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and fans are now hopeful of returning to the top-flight since their relegation in the 2003-04 season.
In other Leeds news, Noel Whelan claims the club need to sign this player in the January transfer window.
