New signing Yannick Bolasie has named Ashley Williams and Ross Barkley as two players he is looking forward to playing with at Everton.
The DR Congo international joined the Toffees from Crystal Palace in a deal worth up to £28million on Monday afternoon.
The 27-year-old signed a five-year deal at the club and could make his debut in Everton’s Premier League match against West Brom on Saturday.
The former Palace man has spoken of his excitement about linking up with his new Goodison Park teammates.
“The club has made some good signings, players like Ashley Williams who I know well,” said Bolasie to the official Everton website.
“I know that I’ve joined a club that not only has lots of quality players but one that produces lots of quality players, like Ross Barkley, as well.
“This season is going to be very interesting and I’m looking forward to being part of it here at Everton.”
Bolasie was on the substitute’s bench for Palace’s 1-0 defeat against West Brom on Saturday and he came on in the 66th minute to a standing ovation from the Sellhurst Park support.
The 28-time capped international starred in 31 encounters for the London club last season in all competitions scoring six goals and providing six assists.
He played all across the front three for Palace, from his more natural left side.
Former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman has looked to add Premier League experience to his squad this summer and Bolasie joins Williams alongside fellow new arrivals Idrissa Gueye and Maarten Stekelenburg.
The Toffees are looking to return to European football after a disappointing 11th placed finish last season.
