Tottenham legend Micky Hazard has expressed his disbelief on social media after Tottenham lost 2-1 against Chelsea at their new Wembley stadium home.
Tottenham initially trailed behind the Premier League champions after Marcos Alonso secured a goal for the Blues during the first half.
However, the north London side received an equaliser courtesy of Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi who headed in Christian Eriksen’s free-kick to take the game to 1-1 with under 10 minutes left on the clock.
Alonso struck again to take the Blues into the lead and ultimately the win, which came as a disappointing blow to Spurs.
Former Spurs midfielder Hazard, who had two spells at the club during his career, could not understand how Mauricio Pochettino’s side lost the game.
He took to his personal Twitter account on Sunday morning to tear into Chelsea for their negative tactics, claiming that the game was boring to watch because of it.
The ex-midfielder wrote: “Still don’t know how me managed to lose, boring football 11 men behind the ball for most of the games, 3 shots at goal 2 goals”.

Tottenham will remain at their temporary home of Wembley Stadium next weekend as they host Burnley on Sunday.
Burnley had a fantastic opening to the season after they beat Chelsea 3-2 in their first game of the 2017/18 campaign.
Spurs will perhaps be hoping that their new signing Davinson Sanchez can make an appearance, after he was announced as their first and only signing of the transfer window so far.
