Highly rated Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura is the most likely player to join Liverpool in the remaining weeks of this summer’s window, according to a report.

Sky Sports’ Football Whispers section claim that the 23-year-old tops the running as a possible summer signing for Jurgen Klopp ahead of the new Premier League season.

It is said that Moura has shot back up to the top of the list as a possible transfer continues to be discussed.

The pacy winger had an impressive campaign for the French champions in the 2015-16 season, scoring 13 goals and supplying five assists in all competitions.

Moura, who can provide great versatility by playing on either wing, joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013 for £30million when he was 20 after Manchester United refused to match the bid.

Football Whispers, which gathers all transfer rumours across the globe and calculates the likelihood of them happening, rates it 3.5 out of 5 that Moura will join Liverpool, with five the highest possible ranking and meaning it is a certainty.

The Brazil international, who has won 35 caps and scored four goals, is followed in the rankings by Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho and Borussia Mochengladbach central midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.

Liverpool have completed three senior deals this summer, with forward Sadio Mane, goalkeeper Lorius Karius and centre-back Joel Matip joining the club’s ranks.
