Highly rated Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura is the second most likely player to join Liverpool after Sadio Mane, according to a report.

Sky Sports’ Football Whispers section claim that the 23-year-old is in the running as a possible summer signing for Jurgen Klopp ahead of the new Premier League season.

The pacy winger had an impressive campaign for the French champions in the 2015-16 season, scoring 13 goals and supplying five assists in all competitions.

Moura, who can provide great versatility by playing on either wing, joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2013 for £30million when he was 20.

Sky Sports’ Football Whispers section, which gathers all transfer rumours across the globe and calculates the likelihood of them happening, rates it 4 out of 5 that Moura will join Liverpool, with five the highest possible ranking and meaning it is a certainty.

As reported by Football Insider, Mane is set to undergo a medical at Liverpool after a fee of £36m was agreed with Southampton. Football Whispers rate him at 4.7 to complete a move to Anfield.

With one imminent signing and one potential signing, you can see the type of player Klopp is targeting as he looks to finish in a Champions League spot in the coming season with the five-time European champions.

Liverpool finished a disappointing eighth last season, but vastly improved and showed real quality when Klopp took charge in October after the sacking of Brendan Rodgers.

The German’s aggressive, and attacking style of play will suit Moura, who has 34 international caps to his name.
