Leeds fans have reacted with mixed feelings to the news that they have signed midfielder Eunan O’Kane from Bournemouth.
The club announced the deal on Wednesday evening just hours before the transfer deadline, with O’Kane signing a two-year deal.
He becomes the 11th signing made by Monk this summer after the arrivals of Luke Ayling, Kyle Bartley, Rob Green, Marcus Antonsson, Kemar Roofe, Hadi Sacko, Pontus Jansson, Pablo Hernandez and Liam Bricutt.
With the arrival of O’Kane, the Yorkshire giants now have a glut of central midfielders.
O’Kane, Bridcutt and Ronaldo Vieira should be in the best position to start but Kalvin Phillips, Alex Mowatt, Luke Murphy, Toumani Diagouraga and Matt Grimes are all in the senior squad vying for a spot.
This group of midfielders, along with just two strikers, has left some fans feeling as though they may have made the wrong purchases this summer, though others are more optimistic.
