Moussa Dembele scored the winning goal against Rangers – and the Celtic fans expressed their delight on Twitter with their forward.

The striker netted the decisive winner on Sunday in the Scottish League Cup semi-final, meaning they will play Aberdeen in the final.

Celtic earned a dramatic 1-0 win against their Old Firm rivals Rangers and Dembele scored the only goal of the match in the 87th minute, after converting home a Leigh Griffiths cross.

The Scottish champions had the best of the opportunities and Rangers goalkeeper Matt Gilks saved well from Scott Sinclair and Tom Rogic in the first-half.

Celtic supporters were full of praise for their hero Dembele and one fan claimed he will become a legend at the club.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Dembele has made a great start to his Celtic career despite a setback in the Champions League.

The 20-year-old has netted an impressive 14 goals in just 20 appearances since his move from Fulham in the summer transfer window.

Celtic have now won both meetings with their great rivals Rangers this season and Dembele has starred in both games.

He scored in an incredible hat-trick in the 5-1 demolition in September and has become a firm favourite with the club’s fans.

In other Celtic team news, the club’s supporters reacted to a devastating injury blow for a Rangers star.
