Celtic fans have questioned manager Brendan Rodgers on Twitter after Leigh Griffiths was named on the bench on Wednesday night.
The 40-goal hitman will be hoping to be brought on later in the Hoops’ Champions League clash against German giants Borussia Monchengladbach.
Griffiths has struggled to break his way into Rodgers’ starting 11 following a hamstring injury that kept him out for a month. French wonderkid Moussa Dembele has stepped up; scoring 13 goals in 18 league and cup encounters.
The Scotland international has been named alongside the likes of Patrick Roberts and Jozo Simunovic as substitutes.
Celtic fans have reacted with shock on Twitter as they look to secure a priceless victory at Celtic Park against their Group C rivals.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

The fact we have Griffiths and Roberts on the bench game after game just shows how good our starting 11 is ??

One fan though seems unaware of the news, after picking Griffiths to score first for the 47-time Scottish Champions along with Barcelona’s Luis Suarez and Arsenal’s Theo Walcott.

Griffiths, 26, led the line with huge success last season, bagging 40 goals and providing eight assists in 51 games in all competitions.
However, the former Wolves striker’s last four appearances for the Scottish giants have come from the bench and Griffiths will have to hope for the same on Wednesday night.
In other Celtic news, this youngster has received his first international call up.
