Celtic have agreed a new car partnership deal which could help the club’s foundation receive up to £15,000 over the period of the deal.
The club have taken on an official car leasing partner in an attempt to help Celtic’s charitable foundation with a huge financial reward.
The Daily Record reports the club have entered an agreement with Intelligent Car Leasing until 2018 and players and staff will be rewarded with new cars.
“We are delighted to have Intelligent Car Leasing as the club’s new car partner and we are pleased that as well as providing an excellent service, they are making such a vital contribution to Celtic FC foundation,” said the club’s chief executive, Tony Hamilton.
“The support of ICL will be very important in allowing us to continue our work in important key areas. This will be vital in making a positive difference to the lives of others.”
Their partners will provide 39 vehicles for players and backroom staff and the car leasing company has also agreed to donate £10 to the foundation for every car leased through the Celtic website.
The Celtic FC Foundation is an important part of the club, providing assistance to those involved in improving health, equality, learning and tackling poverty.
The car leasing firm, which is a local company based in Glasgow will also give fans the opportunity to win tickets to Celtic games from competitions.
Fans will be given exclusive offers and prizes as part of a series of online competitions which will attempt to interact with Celtic supporters.
