Celtic are eyeing a summer swoop for Fulham sensation Emerson Hyndman, according to a report.

The Scottish Sun claim the newly-crowned champions are ready to battle European giants AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund for the highly rated midfielder.

It is said the 20-year-old has already told Fulham he will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.

The USA international would cost millions if he stays in England but he is ready to exploit a Fifa loophole by moving to a different country for a cut-price £250,000 in training compensation.

Liverpool academy graduate Jordan Rossiter has joined Celtic’s bitter rivals Rangers for that price after running down his Anfield contract.

Former FC Dallas star Hyndman joined the Fulham academy in 2012 and broke into the first team in 2014.

He made 16 Championship appearances for the Londoners this season and started in three of Fulham’s final six games of the season.

Hyndman, who has not made his mind up on his next club, can play in either central midfield or a wide midfield position.

In other Celtic news, Liverpool are ready to given up in their pursuit of one of the club’s leading men.
