Celtic enjoyed an impressive 5-0 victory in the Scottish League Cup clash against Motherwell on Wednesday evening – and fans of the Hoops were overjoyed with the result.
The Scotland giants took the lead early on with Tom Rogic and Moussa Dembele putting the Bhoys 2-0 up before half-time. New signing Scott Sinclair scored in the second half, while Dembele and Rogic bagged their second goals of the night.
The Hoops made the semi-finals of the competition last season and they will be looking to push further and add more silverware to their cabinet this season.
Celtic fans were clearly delighted with what they saw from Brendan Rodgers’ side and many are excited to see what the rest of the season will bring for the club.
Fans took to Twitter to share their views on the win:
Think Celtic is going to dominate Scotland under BR, & not the usual dominate.

Former Liverpool boss Rodgers took over Celtic from departing boss Ronny Deila this summer.
The Northern Irish boss has been tasked with the job of winning the Scottish Premiership with fierce rivals Rangers returning to the league.
The Hoops have strengthened their squad this summer with the additions of Dembele, Sinclair, Kolo Toure, PJ Crossan and Kristoffer Ajer.
