Nathaniel Chalobah was included in the starting XI against West Ham – and the Chelsea supporters were please with the decision on Twitter.

Antonie Conte has made seven changes on Wednesday night for the Blues’ EFL Cup fourth-round match against West Ham at the London Stadium.

Chalobah, 21, is one of the club’s youngster who has been given the opportunity to impress from the start

Chelsea supporters were thrilled with the decision to start the youngster and are excited for him to play alongside N’Golo Kante in the midfield.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Chalobah has integrated himself into the first team this season and has made four appearances already from the substitute’s bench.

The England under-21 international is a product of the club’s academy but has failed to make a senior breakthrough yet.

He is making his first start for the club and Italian manager Conte appears to have him in his plans this season.

Chalonah has been sent out on loan to tons of club in search of regular football, including the likes of Watford, Middlesbrough, Reading and Napoli.

In other Chelsea news, Angelo Ogbonna has delivered a two-word Twitter verdict ahead of the clash with West Ham.
