Cesc Fabregas has been recalled to Chelsea’s starting XI against Sunderland – and the club’s supporters are delighted on Twitter with the decision.
Antonio Conte has made two changes to his side as Fabregas and Willian are handed an opportunity to impress.
Nemanja Matic and Eden Hazard have been left out, with the latter suffering with an injury.
The Blues travel to Sunderland on Wednesday night for the Premier League clash and will go six points clear at the top of the table with a victory.
Chelsea fans were pleased that Fabregas was included from the start against Sunderland and feel he can provide the creative spark left by the injured Hazard.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Good decision by Conte to pick Fabregas over Matic. With Hazard out we need his creativity #cfc

⚗️ Fàbregas gives more to the attack than Matic; makes sense in Hazard’s absence.

Fabregas starts ahead of Matic. We'll need him to break down teams that are happy to sit off & park the bus, especially without Hazard.

Fabregas was used as a substitute in the narrow 1-0 victory against West Brom on Sunday and made a positive impact off the bench.
The 29-year-old offers a more attacking approach than Matic and he could be crucial in breaking down Sunderland’s defence.
He has been on the fringes of the Chelsea squad this season and is making just his third Premier League start of the season on Wednesday night.
Hazard’s omission will be a big blow to the side and they will need the creative talents of Fabregas to fill his void.
Fabregas has shown in the past that he has a great partnership with striker Diego Costa and will be looking to find the Premier League’s in-form player.
