Chris Sutton has simply posted “interesting” on Twitter following the news that Joey Barton would be allowed to return to full-time training.
The former Celtic star, turned BT Sport pundit has been quite vocal in regards to the situation Barton has found himself in at Ibrox.
The 34-year-old midfielder was suspended by Rangers for three weeks in September following a training ground argument with team-mate Andy Halliday.
However, now almost two months after the incident it has been reported by the club that the controversial midfielder will be allowed to return to training with Mark Warburton’s side.
Now Sutton, has reacted to the news with “interesting….” on his personal Twitter account.

The news to Barton comes directly after fellow experienced midfielder and summer signing Niko Kranjcar is expected to miss the rest of the season.
The injury to Kranjcar will come as a huge blow to the Scottish giants with the former Tottenham man proving pivotal to Warburton’s team, who are looking to close the gap on fierce rivals Celtic at the top of the league.
The Gers are currently second in the Scottish Premiership and sit nine points behind the Hoops, playing a game more.
Rangers are currently in good form having suffered just one defeat in October in the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Celtic.
They won their most recent match 3-0 against Kilmarnock and will travel to Ross Coutny on Saturday, who are second from bottom in the table.
