Ciaran Clark has revealed his delight on Twitter as Newcastle recorded their fifth straight league win.
Rafa Benitez’s side produced a masterclass performance on Tuesday night as they thumped QPR 6-0 at Loftus Road in the Championship clash.
The defender scored his first goal for Newcastle in the victory and the result keeps the club in second place, just a point adrift of leaders Huddersfield.
The 26-year-old has took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon and posted on his personal account that he is overjoyed following the win.

Newcastle have now won their last five league games, which has seen the rise up the table, whilst also winning an EFL cup game against Cheltenham mid-way through the run.
Clark moved to St James’ Park in the summer transfer window after leaving fellow relegated side Aston Villa.
Benitez is yet to decided on a settled defensive line and Clark has made three appearances in the club’s opening eight fixtures.
The Republic of Ireland international is competing with team-mates Grant Hanley, Chancel Mbemba and Jamaal Lascelles for a starting centre-back position.
Newcastle host Wolves on Saturday in their next league match and will hope to continue their recent form.
