Claudio Ranieri has praised the depth of the Tottenham squad ahead of their match against Leicester.

Spurs host the Foxes on Saturday in the Premier League, as the two sides that challenged for the title last season meet.

Leicester went on to lift their first Premier League trophy after a nervous title race with Spurs, who were pipped to second-place by north London rivals Arsenal on the final day.

Leicester have focused their attention on the Champions League this season, whereas Mauricio Pochettino’s team have made a great start domestically.

The north London club are currently the only unbeaten side in the division and are just a point behind league leaders Manchester City.

Ranieri hailed the Spurs squad and believes they can rotate all over the pitch.

“Spurs are the only unbeaten team in the Premier Lague because they have a very good squad. They can change and rotate,” Ranieri said, as quoted by the club’s official Twitter account.

Spurs have demonstrated the strength of their squad this season on numerous occasions, with injuries to senior players such as Hugo Lloris, Danny Rose and Harry Kane.

Kane, 23, has missed the last eight games in all competitions after sustaining ankle ligament damage against Sunderland in September.

Attacker Heung-Min Son has stepped up and provide a great replacement and Spurs have been able to continue their strong start to the campaign.

Pochettino made 10 changes to his team against Liverpool in the EFL Cup on Tuesday and his youthful side were narrowly beaten 2-1.

The Argentinian boss is expected to restore his strongest side for the visit of the champions Leicester.

In other Tottenham news, Sir Alex Ferguson has given his verdict on the club’s title challenge.
