Stan Collymore has claimed on Twitter that Aston Villa’s 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Sunday at Villa Park was a better point for the away side.
Forest took the lead through a wonder strike from Apostolos Vellios before Ross McCormack and Rudy Gestede gave Villa the lead in quick succession.
However, Roberto Di Matteo’s side were denied all three points when Henri Lansbury picked the ball up in the box on the 87th minute and finished calmly to earn his side a point.
Former Forest and Aston Villa player Collymore, took to Twitter after the match and posted a message through his personal account saying that Villa need to learn how to grind out results, indicating that it was two points dropped in the afternoon clash.

The match was Aston Villa’s sixth game in the new Championship campaign.
They have only won one match with a 3-0 victory against Rotherham, while playing out three draws and suffering two losses in the new season.
The match against Philippe Montanier’s side has left them in 17th place and they will be keen to improve on their slow start after bringing in nine new players this summer for a huge outlay.
In other Aston Villa news, fans were left frustrated on Twitter following Sunday’s draw.
