Villa travel to St Andrews on Sunday for the highly anticipated league meeting and the two Midlands rivals are separated by six points in the table.
Birmingham have made a strong start under manager Gary Rowett and currently sit seventh in the Championship, only outside the play-off positions on goal difference.
Villa have had a much more difficult start to the season and recently sacked Roberto Di Matteo after a string of poor results.
