Liam Bridcutt is absent from the Leeds squad for a fourth consecutive match as Garry Monk selects an unchanged side for the clash against Bristol City on Tuesday night.

The Elland Road skipper is once again missing with a foot injury sustained a fortnight ago even though Monk insisted on Monday that he was closing in on a return.

The Elland Road manager has stuck with the team that beat Ipswich 1-0 in the Championship on Saturday, with Kalvin Phillips and Eunan O’Kane once again selected as the central midfield combination.

Ronaldo Vieria, who would have been in contention to start in midfield, is also absent from the matchday 18 along with Bridcutt.

Leeds take on Bristol City seeking a fifth consecutive win after league victories over Blackburn, Cardiff and Ipswich were supplemented by a League Cup triumph over Blackburn.

Monk’s side are 12th in the Championship and will climb into the top half if they defeat City on Tuesday night at Ashton Gate.

In other Leeds team news, the club have suffered a blow as a senior star has been ruled out for another three weeks.
