Aaron Tshibola has been axed from the Aston Villa team for Saturday’s Championship clash against Derby.
The midfield summer signing is replaced in the starting line-up by Gary Gardner, while there is no place in the squad for Mile Jedinak, who joined from Crystal Palace earlier in the week.
Manager Roberto Di Matteo has made only one change from the Villa side that drew 1-1 against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.

He has decided to keep faith with Aly Cissoko at left-back, as fans favourite Jordan Amavi continues to be re-introduced gradually after the cruciate ligament injury that sidelined him for most of last season.
There is a surprise return to the squad for striker Libor Kozak, who has not played for the team since suffering an ankle fracture in January.
Adama Traore has not travelled with the squad to Derby, as the winger has told Di Matteo he wants to leave the club.
In other Aston Villa team news, Alan Pardew has stated the club has signed a leader and a warrior.
